Regarding your
master account name or User ID
:

(1) When you install the filtering program on your computer, it will prompt you for a master account name

(2) The Master account name is REALLY the original "User ID" which you provided earlier in the signup process.

Regarding your Filter Settings:

(1) Once you get the filter going you may find that you have set your preferences to be more restrictive than you had planned.

(2) If you are being blocked from sites that you think are OK then please click on "details" on the blocking screen. Note the category that is being blocked and then email us or call us and we will be happy to change the preferences for you.

(3) Sometimes it will take a little working with until you have it just the way you want.

(4) Keep in mind that some subscribers DO choose the most optimal settings the first time. These notes ONLY apply to SOME subscribers who chose to block more restrictively during the inital setup, then changed their minds about the settings later.
